Cabo with Kids

Having your kids in Cabo is great!  Between the three of us, we have raised several “Cabo Kids.”  You just need to know what to do and where to go.  You can also follow along with kid friendly activities, restaurants, and advice at our Facebook Group

  • Teach your kids to give back to the community.  I highly recommend volunteering with Feeding Los Cabos Kids.  As a family, you will travel into a colonia, where your kids can prepare lunch and serve local children.  It is a very humbling experience as many of these kids only have that one meal each day.

  • Beach play and Swimming-  Medano Beach is an amazing spot for the kids to run and swim.   If you are not staying at a Medano Resort, you can visit a restaurant such as The Sand Bar of Tobascos, get a lounge chair or table, and watch the kids play.

  • Snorkel Trip Admire an underwater world of colorful fish on this 45 minutes snorkeling tour from Cabo San Lucas. Choose from several departure times, and hop on a boat that anchors near Pelican Rock. On this budget-friendly excursion, soak up the sun and the rich marine landscapes in Land’s End. Make your trip more comfortable by bringing aboard beverages and snacks of your choice.

  • Wagoona Splash Island (summer only)- A kids water play area with a spash pad, slides, pool, water guns, and more! The entire space was designed so that even the smallest guests can have fun in a safe place. The pool is 40cm deep with non-slip flooring for easy walking. The area is only made-up of rounded edges, and we have several safety points to attend to our guests.

  • Surf Lessons - Get your surf on with year-round lessons in the waters off Los Cabos. Explore some of the best surfing spots with a group of professional surfers who will teach you the basics or adjust their instruction to suit your needs. In spring and summer hit up the waves of Costa Azul for a 3-hour workshop; spend a full-day surfing in fall and winter at the world-famous Cerritos Beach. Practice popping up on your longboard, paddling and wiping out, or simply catching the sea's biggest and best.

  • Flyboarding Learn the thrilling sport of flyboarding during your Baja California vacation with this 1-hour experience in San Jose del Cabo. Start with a 30-minute lesson followed by 30 minutes of flyboard practice, working with an experienced instructor inside the marina where you are protected from wind, waves, and other boats. Family and friends are welcome to watch at no extra charge.

  • Pirate Ship  Explore the waters off the coast of Cabo San Lucas on a snorkeling and lunch cruise by pirate ship. Built in 1968, the ship provides a unique spin on the typical daytime cruise. Snorkeling gear, live entertainment, lunch, and an open bar are included.
